HISTORY OF O.M.M.A
In 1896, Maulana Abdul Rehman started a Madressah, which was situated in Kharadar to privilize the Islamic Education. This educational institute was working under his own supervision. Then in 1928, it registered in Bombay Presidency as a School, which was consisted on Primary and Secondary section.
After sometime of Independence of Pakistan Okhai Memon Madressah Association properly registered as Voluntary Social Welfare Agency (Registered & Control) in 1961, according to Act no. XXI of 1860.
Okhai Memon Madressah Association had four Schools. In which,
1. Okhai Memon Boys Secondary School
2. Okhai Memon Girls Secondary School
3. Okhai Memon Boys Primary School
4. Okhai Memon Girls Primary School is included.
By the side of this Okhai Memon Anjuman put the responsibility of two more educational institutes on it, which are: -
1. Essa Jamal Memorial Boys & Girls Primary & Secondary School (Nayabad).
2. Hajiani Zulekha Bai Memorial Boys & Girls Primary & Secondary School (Daryabad)
But the expenditures became more day-by-day, Due to this these two institute returned back to Okhai Memon Anjuman in 1995.One of the block of Okhai Memon Schools is donated by “Seth Hasan Noor” on Friday 9 thDecember, 1966. In the legend memory of his father “Late Noor Muhammad Qassim Toberia”.
In July 4th, 1969 President of Okhai Memon Jamat “Seth Hussain Ebrahim Jamal” started the construction of the building of School. In November 1971, Hussain Ebrahim Jamal donated this building to Okhai Memon Madressah Association.
Okhai Memon Madressah Association worked very hard not only to improve the standard of these four institutes. In Presidentship of Mr. Latif Ebrahim Jamal on
7th October , 2000, the opening ceremony of “Ebrahim Jamal Institute Of Information Technology(EJIIT)” held by Professor Atta-ur-Rehman (Federal Minister Of Science & Technology) and all the expenses of this institute beard by Okhai Memon Madressah Association, which is going on path of success.

Ebrahim Jamal Institute Of Information Technology is made, according to
21st Century. Here students learn Information Technology & different kinds of courses in computer. All the computer labs are equipped with modern computers and well furnished with Air Conditioners as student can get their education easily.

-) School will make sure that Computer Literacy in teachers is 100%. Therefore,every new teacher will be trained under the Intel teach to the Future Program within two months.
